    Tuesday

    Bike: 31.5k @ 27.5km/hr

    I did this round a ring I used when I was marathon training. It's a lot easier and quicker on the bike! I tried to keep a good tempo going all the way and it turned out to be my fastest bike ever :D

    Swim: 2k

    200 easy
    100,200,300,400,300,200,100 w pb 5sec rec
    200 alt backstroke and fc

    Did this after work and because I was hungry and its an easy week I used the pull bouy for the main set.

    Wednesday

    Delighted with this. I love this session. It's one of my favourites because you're changing pace a lot so you have to concentrate and the time flies by. I had a cold bath when I got back. I don't normally like cold baths but I didn't think to put the immersion on and my muscles feel better after a bath compared to a shower. I'm collecting my MTB from the bike shop after work. I just dropped it in for its final tune up before the big day/days/weekend :D I love my bike shop. The guys are going to lend me a fancy light for the Beast. It has a 17hr battery life :D

    No I can explain. It's the watches. They're all set to metric and I can't be bothered changing them. It'll all be different soon :D

    Thursday

    Nothing.

    Friday

    Core: 50min

    I did the chin ups and pull ups outside. The cat was watching me and there was a little bird teasing the cat. He kept flying down from the roof of the stables and flying quite low over the cats head.

    Saturday

    Run: 6k easy

    Swim: 2.6k

    2 x (400sw, 800pb)
    200 easy

    The lanes were busy today. I swam into someone by mistake near the finish. She was doing backstroke and I must have been in my own little world cause I totally did not see her!

    Very happy Beast Week is here. I'm pretty much all sorted now. Just leaving the finishing touches until we get the maps on Wednesday. I am so excited :D

    Monday

    Run: 7.5k easy with 6 x 15s on/15s off

    Legs feeling good these days. Think I might chance doing another short run tomorrow.

    Swim: 2k

    200 easy
    4 x 100 steady
    100 backstroke
    2 x 200 steady
    100 backstroke
    400 steady
    200 backstroke

    Wasn't really feeling the love for this but the more I did, the more comfortable it felt :)
