When can i finally expect to get efibre in Carrickmacross, co. Monaghan.

According to the wholesale map 10 out of 13 cabinets are live/green (3 have a blue status/cabinet in place: CCS1_E01, CCS1_021 and CCS1_022).
The nearest cabinet (CCS1_003) to my home, less then 500m away is also live/green.

    Cheers for the PM Bikeblue,

I can see your line is connected directly to the exchange (Who's data code is currently CCS1_091) Lines  like yours (connected to CCS1_091) will be switched to what the exchange will migrate to after works have completed on CCS1_E01 - the 'E' stands for exchange.

Completion works are in progress for CCS1_E01 which means works may be completed within 6 to 8 weeks but until this launches I'm afraid I will be unable to offer any further information on eFibre availability to you line.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
    Al

CCS_E1 is now live according to: http://www.eircomwholesale.ie/Our_Network/.

When i check fiber availability the eircom website tells me: Your home is not in an eFibre area  !   ???

    Hi bikeblue

The wholesale map is purely indicative of eFibre availability on a wholesale level only and does not intend to suggest that eFibre has launched at a consumer level yet. As I mentioned in my previous post your line is currently connected to CCS1_091 which needs to be migrated to CCS1_E01 - unfortunately timeframes for this are not available to me but previous indications suggest we should have better news in the coming weeks.

    Cheers
    Al
