Permanent Residency problem

    Hi all,

I worked in Canada as a software developer for 15 months on the 2 year working holiday visa, but I had to come for a few months.

My visa is expiring on the 18th June.

According to the CIC, I am eligible for Express Entry for the Canadian Experience Class, but that still takes 6 months.

I can't do the English exam until July to even start my application.

I still have that job available to me but I can't get back before my visa expires.

Is there any way I can work in Canada whilst waiting for the permanent residency?

    Cheers for any help!

You can get your employer to apply for LMIA and you can get a temporary work permit off the back of it. It will cost your employer $1000.

Plus the LMIA will add 600 points to your EE profile, win win.
