Wasn't a fan of Brookside though back in its day it was pretty out there- yes, i imagine a lot of people would say that too.

I've always been a big fan of Risteard Cooper.. He's hugely talented, and I think he's hugely underused and underrated... Comedy is extremely difficult (as demonstrated by Jason Byrne last week), but Risteard has been consistently excellent for a long time now... Here are a few of my favourites..

His impressions of Pat Kenny and Des Cahill..

Live with Pat Kenny and the new film based on Pat Kenny's court case "The Field"

    As George Hook...

And one of the rugger buggers.... Matt Williams and Franno.. I think this is particularly good.

    So there you go..

They will probably have the guests go through metal detectors to check for Yes/No badges tonight.

Neven Maguire will be on, plugging his new "Baby And Toddler Cookbook"

I've always thought Neven should do audiobooks, his voice would be very relaxing. And SatNavs "Now, you missed that turn, but we've all done it before. It was my fault. Turn left when you get a chance ... "

Also appearing is @maryCyPsy who will be talking about "cyberpsychology" ... I have read her Twitter page and I haven't a scooby doo what her name is or what she does. Cyber crimey CSI stuff ...

If you've seen any CSI:Cyber, Patricia Arquette's character is based on Mary's life.

The number of posters on the tread tonight is an indication of just how low the LLS has fallen in sensible peoples' estimation.

Jaysus that's some weak lineup of guests. Really scrapping the bottom of the barrel

The Guest List does look a bit like "We have no budget left this year - who do we know that is always available and won't cost us any flights or hotels?"

In sporting parlance skid it has the look of we have given up on that champions league spot and have settled for mid table mediocrity

What is this 'top secret' LLS series finale special?

Can honestly say I have never watched and nor will I ever a full episode of Fair City.

I do not understand people's obsessions with soaps telling the same stories of human misery for years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,700 ✭✭✭✭Muahahaha

In fairness to Bob Murray he is a decent enough actor, especially in theatre. The same cant be said for many of the rest of the Fair City cast though

Brian lost everything when his Fairground thing in Goffs went belly up (as did many of his creditors)

    http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/theme-park-creditors-fury-over-liquidator-appointment-25887933.html
Poga's Wonderland opened for business in June (2004) at Goffs, Co Kildare, but went bust with debts of almost €1.4m less than three months later.

    Good Evening All :)

I love Bryan Murray's speaking voice, he should do a few audiobooks. He presents Late Date occasionally and he does a fine job!
