posting in behalf of my wife again as I'll be having a bit of fun with my own team!
she has clawed her way to the top of a sizeable money league.
she is currently equal on points with second but top due to making less transfers!
3rd is only 2 points back so incredibly tight!
the guy in 2nd made 2 transfers for -4 around 11 this morning (assume he thought deadline was today) and has almost certainly sold hazard looking at bank balance . person in 3rd made transfer straight after arsenal game and none since. if they did then I could advise the wife to do 2 as well........anyway her squad is as follows and I'd really appreciate help. I won't say what I think she should do as I'd like independent advice !

Firstly Kane has too go, I was looking at costa but I'm going with lukaku
Defenders I'm not worried about I'll stick same with keepers. The midfield is the interesting thing tho. I'm shipping Gerard and Sanchez (reasons are a few posts above ) and I'm bringing in either bolaise or puncheon for Gerard and silva or Yaya for Sanchez.

yes along the lines of what I'm thinking BUT the crux of the matter is whether to take a hit or not with it being so tight!
original plan was kans to ulloa only. but with doubts over so many midfielders starting and kane a sure starter..........could upgrade Boyd to mahrez or bolasie and play 352 with kan first sub!
a 4 point hit gives so many other options though......

It's a solid team I'd sell cazorla wouldn't take a hit and would keep kane.

It's names in a hat stuff really as it comes down tO what hapens in one gw. I think it's a risk to go into the weekend with caz sanchez and Hazard so you have to ditch one of them and then all the options above are decent it's just about picking the one that delivers that comes down to luck. The reason I'd recommend keeping Kane is he is a guaranteed starter for you.

Am happy enough with my defence and forwards so looking for a midfield punt. Still have Sterling...is it foolish to get rid of him, a guaranteed starter instead of one of Ozil or Sanchez? Watched him against Palace and he was dire so really don't want him in my team again tomorrow even if he does start. Considering Adam, Young or Milner as a replacement. Going to forget about Walcott now as I don't even know if Ozil or Sanchez will start never mind him.

Gone for Silva and Young in for a -4. Still quite a few players who I'm uncertain of but this is the last roll of the dice and my the levels to which I care have plummeted drastically. (The season goes on so fecking long!) Currently leading my main league by 14 points and sitting at 36k overall. Not bad considering I've watched all of two games of football all season!

Nice finish would be good but I'm not terribly optimistic!

and if he does start against a tired hungover Sunderland side without Lee catermole to kick him........Sanchez equally explosive

So for me it's either

1. ditch Ramsey or Sanchez and play either Kane or Cambiasso

or

2. ditch Kane or Cambiasso and bench either one of them or one of my Arsenal mid...

See I was thinking the opposite. Hazard has played in every single league game. A nice record in a title winning side, and I'm sure he doesn't want to be sat in the stands for the celebration game at home. I'd fear that even if he's not up to playing he'll come on for the last 5 for his standing ovation.

What do the rest of yis think? If I though he was a 'whole duck or no dinner' situation it would very much affect my approach.

Also, any views on Bolasie/ Palace. Good result last week but have been better away, while Swans have been very tight at the back and Fabianski is going for the Golden Gloves. Is he the red herring in my midfield selection drama! Good first sub maybe.

All I can add is Jose has generally taken an all duck or no dinner approach with hazard

Have a 41 point lead but the lad in 2nd has 5 different players. Going to capt Kun have vardy and Kane making up my front 3.

Have Terry Zab and Moreno as back 3 but have Sanchez Ozil and hazard in midfield along with silva. Can see Ozil missing out so am likely to transfer him out.

Any ideas on who to bring in?

Cambiasso definitely IMO.

Probably Skrtel over Clyne but wouldn't expect much from either. Stoke V Pool could be a 0-0 I suppose.

I'd go 1. in your position. The only pb is what to do if no news about Hazard. If news you can choose to play him or Bolasie.


I'm getting real lost personally after a week of tinkering... I'd hate to lose my hardly fought top10k position but am afraid it's now only down to luck.

1. Kane to Ulloa/Pérez/N'Doye (Ulloa strong favourite now). Play Hazard or Cambiasso. Play both ramsey & Sanchez. Agueor, Silva & Benteke for the rest of my strikeforce. No hits.
2. Cambiasso to Young. Bench Hazard or Kane depending on news regarding the former.
3. Hazard + Kane to Puncheon + Lukaku. Bench Cambiasso. 4 pts hit.
4. Hazard + Kane to Yaya + Ulloa. Bench Cambiasso. 4 pts hit.

I feel 3 & 4 give me a stronger squad, particularly if Rambo or Sanchez are rested. Pb is they'll prob get a cameo...
Prob with 3 is Lukaku did burn me (like many here) in the past.
Prob with 4. City overkill.
Prob with 2. United have nothing at stake and are away to a team fighting for its survival. Hull are unpredictable though. 2 CS wins in DGW34. Then 2 home defeats including Burnley and nothing in WHL to a disinterested Spurs side.
Prob with 1. If Hazard misses out, Cambiasso is not a great replacement (DGW mistake).
