Dress Required, Theme "Old Hollywood Vintage Glamour"

I've got a hen party coming up in the summer, but I also have a wedding next month. The theme for the hen is Old Hollywood Vintage Glamour so I'm looking for a dress for the Saturday night. It occurred to me that I could possibly get something for the wedding next month that would work for both.

Any thoughts about where to find such a thing? Good websites? Don't want to break the bank. I'm 5'1" and a size 8 so will need to go short/midi.

ooh that's fab. As it happens I'm driving to limerick at the weekend so can detour. I've no idea how they'll look on me so being able to try a few on would be great. Thanks a million!

Me again! athtrasna, you mentioned you were heading to Limerick next weekend. That's actually where I'm from. There's a swop shop called Be Fabulous on Shannon St in the city centre. It's probably more debs style dresses, but might be worth your while having a look there too.

Most of the dresses suggested look to me to be more fifties style no? To me Old Hollywood Vintage Gamour screams sequins, feathers, fur shawls etc.. like The Great Gatsby. OP if you Google 'asos sequin dresses' there's some lovely ones that you could dress up perfectly with accessories for both the hen and the wedding.
