Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He's too much me for me on an interview.

If I was his mam, I'd be looking for a bit of counselling.......for all of us.......

I'm not a fan of theatres, if the story is good make it in to a film.

No way, nothing like live theatre. Has to be well done of course, good acting & directing and all that, but a play done well wipes the floor with cinema any day. No bells, no whistles, just amazing acting.

Why do both he and Tubs tell us we can spend the money however we like, on whatever we like?

Just caught the end of that. Like a good uke.

I suppose it's in case we'd feel obliged to spend it on paying water charges and the like? For the benefit of those lacking in imagination maybe :)

I agree. I've spent far more enjoyable nights out at The Gate, than I have at the Omniplex. But there is a very "up their own arses" element to certain sections of the Irish theatre community, that is very off putting. I'd say it was that that he reacted against, rather than the actual plays themselves. I know I have.

Yes, there is - but, it seems, just one appearance for the exploding €500 notes tonight instead of the usual two. :(

I think the London Olympics did so much for the paralympics, certainly here and in the UK anyway. And programmes like the Last Leg really helped as well. Just put the paralympics on more of a similar level with the olympics in the public eye.

I'd love to get in to rifle shooting, any ideas how? I take it you just don't go to your local Garda station and say you would like a gun licence to shoot targets.
