Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Except Young he's been sexcellent :)

I'm aware his cross was the one for the goal but it's the same old problem with him that he's fantastic on the ball but his crossing and shots go nowhere near where they should. The cross for the goal was aimed for Fellaini and overhit by loads. If he could just think a bit more about his shooting and crossing it'd be great for him.

That's the scary thing. I'm not at all confident about the FA cup final.

Good team - Aston Villa? :pac:

We've been ****e so far. Not in the game at all.

Wilson or RVP on for Falcao.

It's the first game in a long time our midfielders have space to play and put some through balls behind he defence but the problem is Falcao is just to slow or not aware enough to get them.

Eh? I've counted 2 through balls to Falcao. He got on the end of one of them.

Not every cross reaches the man every single time. You don't like Young, we get it.

Nothing surprising about how that half played out.

its typical. Any sort of pressure and we're rubbish.

    It gets very tiresome.

Imagine what a good team will do against an Arsenal performance like this.

In what way a good team? As it stands United are ahead of Arsenal in the league.

You would be currently overrating your own team

Can only hope this is part of preparation for the final and he's given up on the league.

Dominating performance by United in the first half. They own the ball, denied arsenal any chances and are a goal up and unlucky not to be further ahead. Arsenal have to be better in the second half but United can definitely step it up too.

Do you think 6 assists and 2 goals is good enough from him this season?

United aren't a good side this season and didn't play particularly well in the first half. Arsenal have just been pathetic, as has happened at various times this year.

Not so much a hoodoo, just not being good enough in many ways leads to form coming and going.

Jesus United fans don't seem to have accepted that their team haven't been very good this season, same crap in the last match thread.

They have been good in the big games, it's the park the bus sides that have caused trouble.

Do be fair a large portion of that was at wing back where he was clearly told not to venture too far forward

Up to the start of this match, only 3 teams have been better. If being not very good, but able to get Champions league football next season, I think all things considered, I'll take it!:)

He has been involved in the same amount of goals as Fellaini yet you can't praise him highly enough.

He was still putting in over 5 crosses a game from there though.

United have had quite a few good 45s this season, but very few good 90s. Everything could change in the second half tbh.

Smalling forgetting what to do when he gets forward :(

    Good stuff from falcao.

Ah now that was ****e from young. Wasn't a hard cross to put in there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Arsenal really are gutless. They won't win a league under Wenger again.

For all his good crosses young wastes a lot of good opportunitys

Arsenal need to get Wilshire on and at least upset Utd a bit. Too easy for them.

Falcao is desperate for a goal

you can see how much Falcao wants to score

To be honest, the players that are out there could try a bit harder rather than bringing on someone to do it.

Arsenal need Wilshire on, at least he'll put the foot in. Walcott to inject some pace. Falcao looks incredibly unfit. One too many visits to kebab palace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,372 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Would bring on Wilson for either Herrera or Fellaini to bring a bit of pace through the middle.

At least you will know what you will get with him. Arsenal playing better last ten in fairness.

    Sanchez has been horrific

Jones is brainless at times no need to try win that ball 5 yards in Arsenal's half

The amount of ball Sanchez gives away is amazing.

    RVP should do the business.

Good luck Falcao, wherever you end up. Can't fault his desire.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Well that looks like a goodbye anyway. Last game at OT for United for both players possibly.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Not a United game if De Gea doesn't have to save our asses....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

FFS Giroud. Should be finishing that. Great ball from Ozil.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

His attitude was superb, the few goals he scored were important in the grand scheme

    I wish him well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,116 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

    Poor from Giroud.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,632 ✭✭✭✭Sand

62 minutes, and that's the first Arsenal effort on goal iirc.
