Hi, is hoping to get a loan to pay off a 1000 euro overdraft a no - go for a Credit Union loan.?.
I´m looking for around that amount to solve a personal debt problem...
but will a credit union need to see an account in credit before approving of a loan?
In other words, when they see my bank statement in debit - will the loan application be thrown out? any advice appreciated...

Each credit union is individual, and will have different attitudes towards lending to debt restructuring. Some will require a history, some will lend without.

Talk to your local credit union: they're pretty approachable and will be able to tell you how they'd look upon your circumstances.
