    Just a wee query,

Can anybody recommend a good dentist in Dublin (or should I be going direct to an Orthodontist?) sorry - I don't know much about teeth!

My teeth are sort of ok from the front(ish)though one of the front teeth juts out, not massively but enough to be slightly noticeable...

Moving to the sides...i've a greyish tooth at the side of my mouth and also a purpley/pink one (as weird as that sounds) Also, for the past few years the top of my gum on one side is a sort of dark Blue and gets the odd ulcer. I've had a few courses of antibiotics but it's never cleared fully. Jeez my mouth sounds terrible (and multicoloured)! Mostly my problems aren't even noticeable though I do find myself not grinning too widely in picture...

That's the back story of my teeth anyway! Do I sound like a suitable candidate for Veneers?

I've been doing research and would go for Porcelain Veneers, rather than Composite. Although more expensive, they certainly seem the most natural and hardwearing!

Anyone had the same done and can share costing/experience? I guess I might need an awful lot of veneers, i'm just asking on here so I can start making the next step of paying for an appointment with a reputable practice.

Initially you should see a general practice dentist for examination and assessment. Take it from there in light of advice received. General dentists can do a lot of procedures themselves these days. Specialist attention might not be needed.

Thanks Anna, that's what I'll probably do, hopefully somebody has a recommendation or can share a personal story too as I don't know anybody that has had them!
