    How long is training? in the army

    Here is a starting point for you: Recruits.

    I would suggest that perhaps you should have a snoop around the reserve first to see if it is for you.

    Just started in the Reserve Defence Force (RDF) myself. It's good fun, difficult but interesting.

    Join up and see if it's for you. If it is, then maybe the Permanent Defence Force (PDF - full-time soldiers/seamen) would be for you.
