Slow satellite, not ISS

Hi, I just saw a satellite going in a NW direction very slowly. I was in Dublin looking E or SE and it went right across me from right to left. This was at 22:24. Any chance it was anything interesting? It was smaller than ISS and a lot slower. Thanks.

Believe it or not there are reckoned to be over 25,000 satellites up there. Take your pick!

Hi The_B_Man,

As mickmackey1 says, there is a lot of stuff orbiting up there!

However, the Heavens Above web site allows you check satellites passes for the previous day.

I've already plugged in Tallaght as a location on the link below. When the page opens it will let you change the day number. Just click "Update" after selecting the 20th and it will give you the list of satellite passes on that day. I can see a couple of possibilities in the "Highest Point" column for around the time you mentioned. Clicking on the time highlighted in blue will bring up a chart showing the satellite's path across the sky.
