The squeaky Latvian one reminded me of some modern radio song too, but I'm too old to know who and what song it is :o

Child bearing hips on Conchita. Shame.

Pretty good taste in clothes too, seeing and hearing her tonight for the first time (blanked the previous Eurovision), I'm impressed I have to say. She's got class.

Anyway, I think that Heroe's or Latvian sort of thing is what Ireland should aim for, something that wouldn't be out of place on youngsters' radio.

Molly Sterling would have appealed to an older audience.

again Swedens song heavily influenced by david guetta's ''lovers on the sun'' especially the country parts at the start

Still can't believe this shíthouse won the eurovision. The Russian entry was miles better.

Bang of "Rhythm Of The Night" off the winner.

How many songs is that now with "heroes" in the title?
The Eurovision is so bad it makes the X-factor look like Rachmaninov!

Nah... more like David Guetta Avicii etc... mash up really imo.

But they'd all be heavily influenced by the Rythm of the Night era/music anyway so not far off.

No, I think he just hit on the same kind of recipe, and he did it well, fair deuce. Not really my thing but then the Eurovision stuff rarely is, still like watching it and supporting some :D

Didn't like Sweden's entry too much, thought Russia was better tbh.

Bottom Five for that appalling song.
I was right. UK finished fourth from bottom.

The UK's entry was incredibly disappointing. I thought Germany and Serbia would do better. I wasn't a fan of Russia's entry or link-up for the votes, too much 'a light from the east' crap going on.
