New Canon Nifty Fifty - 50mm 1.8 STM

    Sold my 50mm 1.8 II last week, i love the lens for how cheap and great it is but i really hated the loud focusing motor.

    So I sold the older lens with intention to buying the STM version.

    Just wondering what people think of it?
    or if anyone know where it can be bought now?

    It's only just out and I see it's on amazon.com but i dont know can we buy from this in Ireland without paying heaps on shipping.

    Must i play the waiting game :|?

    Bought the Youngnuo 50mm f1.8 from Amazon.

    Worked out to 66 euro including shipping from the Netherlands.

    Has received some rave reviews online.
    Can't be beat for the price.
