Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

STEEL QUERY

I want to buy about 12 lengths of tubular steel 60mm x 60 mm with varying lengths between 3 metres and 5 metres.

It is intended for outdoor application for a framework for a fence.

Does anyone know in what lengths steel comes ? I will specify the lengths when I have measured up properly but just want to have some idea of the lengths suppliers get their steel.

Anybody know what price this will likely be ?

Any recommendations as to where to buy ? I am in the Donnybrook area of Dublin.

    Thanks.

It usually comes in 6m lengths.

One stockholder in Dublin is : -snip- you're doing fencing, you probably should be using galvanised tubing. Either that or buy plain steel, make your fence, and then get it galvanised.

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Try -snip- in ashford, co Wicklow. They can fabricate what you want and advise on the best section to use....
