Adopt a kitten/Cat

I've been promising for ages that we would adopt a kitten/cat

Am now in a position to do it but dunno where from

the kspca website seems to be showing old ads for pets, I will try contact them directly , but just wondering if any one knows any other shelters , within a reasonable distance - kilkenny/carlow/tipp/waterford etc

cheers - one less kitten there now, and one remarkably well behaved kitten in my gaff - other than his aversion to ANY human contact
Falling asleep between my feet is the best we managed so far
