    Any advice on fixing light fittings to external insulation ,there is not much weight in them.

    There are a type of plastic worm fixing for fixing to external insulation. Fischer fid 50 or 90 are the sizes.

    Expensive when in packs of 25 or 50 but here are some in packs of 10.
