Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

need a dress!! help!!!

    Hey I am trying to get my hands on a reasonably priced dress for a thing coming up. I would love something to the knee or just below and I'm not a fan of my arms!! Ideally I'd like something retro 50s inspired but not OTT or like a long midi skater dress. essentially I need something to cinch my waist where I can show a little leg!! I find A-Line works best and I just cannot find anything!!! If anyone knows of a decent online shop that delivers here within say 3working days or a physical shop were I might find something. Based in carlow but am open to suggestion. Im not big on patterns but I do like quirky so like a comic book patterN is ok florals a bit meh but feck it I'm getting desperate at this point!!! If anyone can point me in the right direction for definately under 80euro.... anyone who helps Thanks!!!!

    What size are you looking for?

    If you want something 50s style, I'd recommend you head up to Dublin and look in Retro in Georges Street Arcade, some fab 50s inspired dresses there, up to about a 14.

    Oh cool thanks!! 10 to 12 is what I'm after!!! Ill check and see if they are online as well for a gander!! I don't want ott in ur face 50s but something inspired by it. To be honest I saw 1 dress online that I love but sold out in my size :'(

    Try the pretty dress company online, kind off the style you want but maybe too dear. also Dorothy Perkins online have a lot if dresses with sleeves, sale online for the weekend

    There's one in Athy called Rock Frocks that have some very nice vintage things too.

    Black-and -red dresses with waists, very easy to wear, look smashing on anyone.

    Have a look at Closet Clothing. They have their own website but Asos also sell them and Pamela Scott and swamp if you're looking for a physical shop.
