    I need to replace my Dell XPS 8100.

    I can't build one myself so the my options are limited

    Opinions on the Dell XPS 8700?

    1. What is your budget? circa [€1600]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?
    Gaming - World of tanks.
    A little basic Video editing
    General office and home use
    Must be quiet.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Yes/No]

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes/No]

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. [24'' or bigger]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Speakers]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [No]

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

    9. When are you purchasing? [ASAP]

    The 8700 looks grand for the tasks. Get the i7 version with the 750Ti card.

    You're sure you can't build yourself? Could get a similar PC for half the price
