Nice try by Nick Williams. Ulster looking very good, though Toulouse defence is pretty good. 7-0!

Anyone know if there are any legal ways of watching this online in the USA (i.e. not illegal streaming or getting around georestrictions) ?

    That was st
upid by Bezy - deserved yellow. 10-0. Ulster playing better than I've seen for a while.

10-0 now he are doing well.

What age is the very babyfaced Ulster player with a scrum hat on? Isthat Alan o Connor?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,661 ✭✭✭Crimsonforce

Ulster are on fire here. There handling and offloading has been superb . Lots of tricks and moves..should be more ahead here...

He wasn't the 9. He was bound. Awful decision.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

    Absolutely awful decision.

    Yellow Nick Williams.....harsh IMO.

    Pathetic

The penalty for taking out the 9 was debatable alright.

The yellow for illegal rucking was not. That's stupid by Williams.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,290 ✭✭✭aimee1

thats a crap call. he clearly went to go under the player with his right arm.

    Awful call IMO

Refs need to revisit that interpretation. You can't hit a ruck without leasing with that shoulder first. Who joins a ruck with their arms out in front of them?? You'd break your arms.

    Adaboy trims!

Camara yellow for that trip on Pienaar - idiot. Fair play to Pienaar for not milking it. 17-0!!!

Think that only happens if the foul play happens after the try is scored.

Advantage was played. Only a penalty after conversion if penalty happened in act of scoring.

Great half from ulster. Getting outside the toulouse defence well. And trimbles try came from targeting the 9s defensive space..

Great half of rugby from Ulster. :D

Makes note to self: Ulster fans on this forum can not be trusted.

After reading all week about how diabolical Ulster have been and how this result could only go one way, I'm finding my viewing of Ulster to be a pleasant surprise.

    Wtf?

ESPN 3 (online channel) show all the European games (both BT and SKY). You will need a US cable subscription to view it though.

If you go into an Irish bar they might be able to set it up for you.

I don't think anyone expected this from Ulster! BT saying best Ulster have played all season - have to agree.

Well it sounds like we aren't awful which suggests we're doing better than usual.

    We've been brill!

Welcome back Luke Marshall, best 40 minutes of rugby from him in about 2 years

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,308 ✭✭✭✭.ak

Shows the importance of transferring the ball but in fairness hard to adjust without ruining your stride. That was some pace.

What a brilliant try from Marshall. Wonderfully flighted kick by Pienaar. Wow!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Unorthodox way of getting it wide from a scrum half but great try.

    That is absurd from Ruan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,308 ✭✭✭✭.ak

Wow. This is the best I've seen Ulster play in years.

    Pienaar is a genius.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

That was ridiculously risky from Pienaar with no advantage.

It was the only way to get it out that wide quickly enough, and Pienaar is also a 10.

    Who is this Ulster team!

Rem we talked about swapping Marshall....we can maybe give that a miss..lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Toulouse had virtually no cover on that side though.

I feel they scored a few times before they kicked it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,820 ✭✭✭Utah_Saint

Haven't seen ulster play like this in a very long time

    Its bloody great!
