It was painful watching those last minutes.....not sure I can watch these players do another 20.

Why did we go so wide anyway... 30 bloody seconds and after one phase and we go wide to 3 men.

Disgraceful lack of game management. Can't see them lasting the extra 20.

    Well two mistakes actually.

Why oh why are we not going through the phases with 30 seconds left. Absolute misery.

Lemme get this straight. Last minute, connacht ahead by 7, poite makes a howler, they get a penalty, they run it and score, but with Obstruction. Tmo misses it? ET?

They blew it. He possession, 30s to go and a 7 point cushion.

Don't care, it was two and it could kill Connacht

Hard to retain possession when a Gloucester player is lying on the wrong side of the ruck obstructing the ball coming back.

Lam is going to go to town on the referee again if this ends up in Gloucester's favour

Why did we go so wide anyway... 30 bloody seconds and after one phase and we go wide to 3 men.

Because refs tend to ping teams who wind the clock down or play negative rugby.

Superb referee? He has been a hopeless joke for as long as I've been watching him.

I bet Pat Lam would rather have Leighton Hodges officiating right now!

Connor oshea commentating on the game and says the decision by poite was "absolutely disgraceful"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,897 ✭✭✭✭bilston

The TMO was too quick to make the call. At first look I didn't think there was obstruction either, it was only on the second view but I think the call had been made by the time we saw the second replay.

Feel sick. Poite up to his normal standard.

They blew nothing. Gloucester player rolled onto the wrong side which made it impossible for them to join the ruck. They had numbers to get to the ruck.

how is going wide from the first ruck from the kick off negative?

He was making the point it wasn't negative

It's not. What I'm saying is if you keep it tight and try and run down the clock it would be seen as negative and refs will look for anything to ping them, so it was the right decision to go wide and keep attacking with positive rugby.
