Paying Voluntary PRSI Contributions from Australia

Maybe someone can advise......
Have a relative in Australia who wants to pay Voluntary PRSI contributions from Australia to keep access to Old Age Pension in Ireland. So they are paid up to date.

Is this allowed?

According to the following link it looks like you should be once you are not on a compulsory social insurance scheme in Ireland or EU

Are they working in Australia? If so, Ireland has a Bilateral Social Security Agreement with Australia, which enables people to combine social insurance contributions that they've paid in Ireland with social insurance contributions that they've paid in Australia, which can help them qualify for a State Pension in either country, so it might be worth looking into that aspect also.
