Best bank for FTB mortgage

    I've contacted Bank of Ireland four times regarding a mortgage and still haven't heard anything back.Very uninterested when i called in to the bank today to try and talk to someone.I haven't so much as filled in a form,i just want to talk to someone before i start the whole process

    So has anyone got any recomendations as to who is the best bank to go for first time buyers?

    Any help appreciated folks

    I've found ulster bank and KBC as the best to deal with, I found bank of ireland like talking to a calculator more than a person whereas the UB and KBC were more conversations
