    If you like modern, the W Hotel is nice.

    We stayed in the manhattan at times square in march.. its rated well enough on TripAdvisor. Room is grand with comfortable bed and great service and hotel lobby is lovely.

    Depending on your budget, I would recommend the Crowne Plaza in Times Square. Ideally located and central to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms comfortable and modern. If you're going on a sightseeing trip to New York, little time is spent in the hotel anyway but it is always good to come back to a nice hotel room after a long day out.
