It's happening me too much lately. I'm also sick of playing real Madrid and barca every single game. I havent played an English team in months. I play with chelsea and I think Juve, dortmund etc would be a fair match up. The 2 Spanish teams are away too good to be playing against every game

I think Chelsea are too good for any team outside of barca, real, bayern. It's up to you to hang teams to get different opponents IMO.

I stopped playing as 5 star teams cause I got fed up of playing against the two big spanish teams.

Drop down to 4 or 4.5 stars and you won't get matched with them, just be prepared to play against Arsenal every other game though instead! :)

I've learned how to play against them at this stage I'm winning most than loosing now but it would be nice to play different teams now and then. I don't wana play with any other team tbh

They only thing I'll ask to be improved is the replay/cut scene joke.

The amount of replays/slow motion celebrations and **** that you can leave go after you score is ridiculous, you should be able to turn off the other persons celebrations.

The only mode I play is online seasons so if this isn't addressed in this version then I wont be buying it, its a deal breaker for me as more than 90% of people you play against online are dickheads.

THATS your deal breakr? i doubt its more than 90%. there are a fair few dickheads sure but just accept the 3 replays will take a few seconds extra and be detirmined to beat him because of it

It is my deal breaker. As I said I only play seasons and in my experience most people are knobs, It takes a lot more than a couple of seconds too, the initial long celebration then the slow motions ones and finally the walk to the kickoff and then if he doesn't press x you have to wait more time for the ref to finally blow, before you can kickoff, Pes has the right idea.

Keeper AI would be another nice fix.

its annoying but 90% of people dont do what you mentioned above. more like 10%. well in my experience anyway. theyre just giving me an oppertunity to respond to whatsapp messages anyway so i guess thats why it doesnt annoy me as much as you

Think that it should be that either person can hit "skip" after the first replay. Let someone celebrate and watch their first replay, but then let the other guy have the chance to move on.

Ah but there's nothing sweeter than going a goal or 2 down to someone like that then coming back and making them sit and watch your winnner, especially if its a tap in or scruffy goal!

I don't mind someone watching all the replay angles if it's a great goal.

If they watch the cutscene of the scorer walking back for kick off I just assume they're a dick though.

Too much enfasis here on online. Fix the game first, goalkeepers especially. Too easy to round them and also why are they all so quick, they always get to some lofted through ball even if a speed deamon is going through on goal. That should be a GK attribute, how well they 'sweep'

Anyone know if I preorder this will I be able to preload a few days before release? Want to buy the digitial function but my connection is crap so will take few days to fully load, obv want to play on release day.

Yeah, definitely will pre-load. If you have an American account, you can start the download on Sunday night and you'll be able to play the full game on Tuesday morning, instead of the Friday release in Ireland. FIFA 15 file size wasn't too big at all so anywhere north of 4mb will have it downloaded by release day.

Most frustrating aspects of Fifa are when you're playing a team and they're winning in Career
    - no matter what way they slide in or what way you're facing - they get the ball ALL the time. Especially true in the last 15 mins of the game.

-how fast some players can turn like CB's and how comfortable they are on the ball at times like this as well. God it's so frustrating.

And when they're losing how every pass you make goes straight to them, you try to hack them down etc and you can't. they ultimately score in the 90th min due to a GK/Defender mix up. Has happened SOOO many times. Thinking of trying PES this year being honest.

Too much emphasis here on online.

And so there should be, football is a game best replicated between human minds. Doesn't work great against an AI.

Also to fix the games issues it needs to be co ordinated with online/human games as they highlight issues with the game itself.

I'd seriously hold my breath about anything major happening after 14 and 15.
Like NBA 2k, as long as they keep producing for the older consoles then the fair is going to be "more of the same".

I don't expect anything major from any of these titles until they drop the older versions and concentrate on the next gen exclusively.

Nope, happens alot if they're chasing a goal as well. I generally start leagues with the worst team in the league so I know I'm going to lose a fair few games until the team etc gets better.

New features announced for career mode including pre-season tournaments (with unlimited subs), manual player training, signing free agents outside the transfer window and more:

Also they've announced 9 new stadiums:

EDIT: Vanishing spray is also in the game! :D

They're adding a "Draft Mode" to Ultimate Team.

Each time you create a Draft - which requires a small fee to enter - you're assigned a random set of players for each position on the team, before taking them onto the pitch in a series of matches in order to win rewards.

Everything in the mode, from team formations and the manager through to each and every position on the field and subs bench, presents you with five options to choose from.

As the roster unfolds, players have to balance what they've already chosen against what could come up next in a bid to unlock the best overall chemistry.

From there, the team is taken online or against the computer in a series of games. After four matches, win or lose, players gain rewards for entering.

The better you perform, the more premium packs and currency you'll get, but even poor performances will net players something to help cover their entry fee.

Players buy into Draft mode by spending in-game coins, FIFA points or a new currency named draft tokens, which are provided through new packs.

According to EA, Draft mode should provide a condensed taste of the larger game, allowing you to sample the best players and try out unique strategies without having to commit to opening countless packs year-round.

Not everyone gets the chance to use Ronaldo in Ultimate Team, but in Draft mode, it's now very much possible.

"We've spent years building Ultimate Team to be a mode you can play for the entire year, becoming incredibly fun and engaging for those who play for 12 months.

"But sometimes, for some people, that is just a bit too much commitment, and it takes a long time to get where you want to go and change the team the way you want.

"So we wanted to have something that would distil the essence of FIFA Ultimate Team - all the fun of team building, all the decision making around, 'Are you going to build the best players or the best chemistry?'"

I actually really like the sounds of that...team building without the annoyance of consumables. Hopefully the "small fee" is actually small...

It's 15,000 coins, but even if you lose your first match, you get at least that much back.

I'm happy they're catering more for Pre-Season. What I wish they would do, and I have doubts that it will be implemented, is when you play a pre-season match to not have the opposing team come at you with full strength. I see pre-season as a means of building up experience for less-experienced players in my squad and sadly, I've just forced myself to sim through the pre-season in past FIFA games because it's just annoying to go against teams that use their best players in a friendly match.

Lads, haven't been on this forum much lately, but I did have the chance to play FIFA 16 in Guildford last week, and honestly I really enjoyed my time with the game, like, more than in a long time.

What I played wasn't a demo, it was a full game on an almost complete build, as in, I had access to all teams and most modes (I played FUT Draft for a bit, loved it) and played full length matches against other lads who knew how to play FIFA.

I'll be doing a full preview for Balls.ie tomorrow, and I'd like to know if you guys have any questions you want answered about FIFA 16, and I'll do my best to answer from my experience with the game. I played about 12 matches in total and got a good feel for it after a few hours.

Fire away. I'll get back as quick as I can.

    You're a gent!

Don't worry if you can't answer all of these, but a few from the top of my head:

    - How did you find dribbling, and players first touch, etc? I have found it to be rather clunky since they left FIFA 13, which I thought was fairly smooth, and moved to '14 and '15.
    - Player switching. I always use analog, but I found it temperamental last year at times.
    - Passing, in particular lob through balls. Does it feel the same as old?
    - Any obvious exploits already? Such as crosses and headers in 12, or lob through balls after 1-2s etc.
    - Those painful penalty decisions of old where your defender goes ham for no reason, or the ref just decides he's giving a penalty for something ridiculous. See any of those?

    Cheers!

Have they added in a coin toss or any way of choosing which end to attack? It's a small one but a killer for Liverpool fans never being able to attack the Kop in the 2nd half.

Would love to hear more about the draft mode. It seems as if its a way to avoid the same run of pace abuse and super teams, as well as a chance to try players you wouldn't usually. Any information about it would be super :)

Which seems fine if you were going to pump the 15k into packs; now you have a chance to get a few extras before you open the packs. But it's going to suck for people who tend to avoid packs :/

Yeah I think I misread the details alright, I prefer buying packs so this is a cool feature IMO, especially since it gives you the chance to try out players you could never afford.

Seems that way, yeah. By the looks of it, if you lose your first game, you'll get two packs anyway, so if you're a pack buyer, it's a chance to get a bit extra.

(Thats not confirmed, btw. Just seems to be what the wording is suggesting).

Barely any time between it and the games release.

Surprising nobody linked any gameplay from Gamescon.

There was an IGN video with a full game featuring commentary with one of the developers/producers.

Have to say, it looks WAY too much like 15.
Didn't look any different at all tbh.
Could be the most underwhelming FIFA ever.

Maybe they should have took that year off after 13 when they had something worth keeping instead of ruining what worked and re-jigging it.

I think PES is at least a possibility for me this year, 14 and 15 have been less a realistic experience than 08 was.

The spin skill move is way overpowered. Players can do three or four in a row to skip around tackles which is just complete nonsense.
