The one thing about a solo-trip with a tour operator especially the likes of Paddywagon Tours is that although you may start solo, by the end you'd have made some great friends.

I once stayed in a Paddywagon Hostel in Belfast. Pure luck by me as my plans changed when backpacking in my teens and I'd no-where booked. Normally reserved for those on their tours I was told, but allowed none-the-less.
Made some lovely pen-friends afterwards so I did. The guides are real friendly & out-going and will bring you outta your shell :)
