    Just curious as to why usually we get paid child benefit on a Saturday if if it falls on bank holiday weekend but we haven't the past two months

    Thank you for contacting us on Boards.

    As child benefit payments are due to credit accounts on the first Tuesday of the month, the payments are processed on Monday and will credit your account Tuesday. Prior to SEPA, payments would have been available on the Saturday.
