    This bit is interesting:
    What could they be announcing?

changes to the bonus point system?

    What could they be announcing?

Biarritz to be included as an Honorary life member (Pool 1) in all future competitions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,900 ✭✭✭✭Riskymove

They're shutting down the whole thing and starting a new organisation based out of Dublin called "Extreme Rugby Crowd", it's going to be run equally by the Unions and the participants will have less individual control. A progressive move, and I for one certainly welcome it.

I picture the draw just beginning as normal when suddenly theme music plays and Vince McMahon saunters up to the stage!!

    EPCR On Ice?

No matter what the changes are, I promise to dislike them.

So more like; No, Níl, Nej, Non, Nein, No, Nao? ;)

    Edinburgh - great!

Lyon and Edinburgh are two good shouts for finals. Cardiff will have gone 5 years without a final by 2018 if it even hosts it then.

Sure would be rude not to pop down the road to Lyon so.

  • Challenge Cup
    Pool 1 Pool 2 Pool 3 Pool 4 Pool 5
Connacht Sale Sharks Montpellier La Rochelle Edinburgh
Brive Dragons Quinns Gloucester London Irish
    Newcastle Castres Cardiff Zebre Grenoble
    Enisei-STM Pau Calvisano Worcester Agen

    Pool 2 is tough!

    Connacht happy!

Good start for Connacht, easiest of the tier 2 teams.

Montpellier and Gloucester could provide two cracking ties...if they bother their asses to turn up that is...which to be fair Gloucester probably will.

Edit - Scrub that I read it wrong...oops...

    Sort yer formatting out Emmet:-)

Montpellier and Quins will be even better!

Sweet draw for Connacht, and plenty of air miles too

    Connacht with the Russians!

That will be a fun away trip in December or January!

Great pool for Connacht. Glad they avoided Gloucester!

  • Newcastle is a smashing city for a weekend break. Great bit of travelling to be done for the Westies.

What does Craig Doyle do when he isn't presenting the draw? I never see him doing anything but this.

Munster in tier 2! Great news for Ulster, but means Leinster must be paired with either Toulon or Saints...

  • Munster miss out on Tier 1

    Munster have no luck.

Munster miss out on Tier 1

Does that impact on Ulster? Or I suppose more likely the Ospreys?

  • errlloyd wrote: »

The reason the draw was delayed was because they were making the Munster ball heavier and so more easily identified.

We'll never know if POC refused to play against them now.

It could yet work out very well for them. Stade, Munster, Exeter, Treviso would be a sweet draw.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Who are the preferable tier1 team?

    Stade I guess?
