    I'm having a problem with iphone 5c.

After the phone has gone to sleep for a while, the screen becomes unresponsive. The slide to unlock doesn't work and I have to put the phone to sleep again before it works.

The iphone 's screen was replaced a week ago after smashing from damage.

I have tried resetting the phone and restoring to factory default.

Does this seem like a software issue or hardware issue?

Should I contact the guy who replaced the screen ?

    Thanks

If you have restored to factory default through iTunes and tried setting it up as a new phone without any backup on it then it seems to be a hardware issue.
