Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Haven't seen a thread on this. The last truly knock out championship and often contains some of the games of the season. Dublin v KK tonight from Parnell Park, live on TG4 throw in 19:30

Pretty weak looking Kilkenny team, I'd be very surprised if Dublin don't win.

    Fine goal Tracey

    Dublin v impressive

Murphy looks sharp for Dublin. The Cats haven't got going at all.

Paddy Deegan's yellow very soft there.

    Dublin look the better team.

Dublin really should be more in front after the first 20.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,467 ✭✭✭Very Bored

We're lucky to still be in this. Dublin sharper all over the field. They do have a few senior players though which is obviously a big help but no doubting that they are much the better team so far.

Cian O' Callaghan looking none the worse for Sundays exertions. Great to be young.

Good hooking there. Come on the Cats!

Edit: Looking at the replay, Barrett dropped it.

Dublin doing their level best to allow Kilkenny remain in the game.

Good work by Diarmuid Cody there. Is he any relation to Brian?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,579 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Dublin will wonder how they are only 2 points up at HT

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,467 ✭✭✭Very Bored

No way we deserve to be only two down at half time.

His son, plays for James Stephens. Think he is on the Senior panel too. Dublin shooting too many wides from distance.

I had a feeling he was his son but wasn't sure. Thanks. Looks like a good player.

I thought that with the wides and shooting from Dublin, particularly from Paul Winters.

    Terrible refereeing, very pro Dublin.

Cian Boland running the show around the middle.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,467 ✭✭✭Very Bored

    Great point from Conor Martin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭dirkmeister

That's a fair bad decision against Diarmuid Cody considering he had the hurl pulled out of his hand.

    Game over now I fancy

    Good save by Sean Brennan.

I wouldn't let this ref have control over an under 6s.

Certainly is. Great goal. Jaysus end to end. Kilkenny goal cancels that out!

    Cracking game.

Who scored the second Dublin goal? Cian Boland?

I have a feeling I'm watching this with a severe lag as I'm watching it online and KevIRL had called the goals well before I saw them.

    Jaysus he saved it!

28 seconds behind on the stream! It is end to end stuff.....

Looks like there isn't much advantage in those penalties to the attacking side from that far out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,113 ✭✭✭✭Mantis Toboggan

Dublin really should have this wrapped up at this stage.

What a save from the penalty by Darren Brennan.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

Some really poor decision making is keeping KK in it. In general play they're second best everywhere.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,072 ✭✭✭Dan Chipowski

Exciting game but only as both teams are pretty poor, particularly in defence.

Notice Diarmuid Cody was taken off, and not before time. Should be nowhere next or near the Kilkenny Senior panel.

Poor penalty, should have went low and hard to the corner.

Lovely take and finish for that goal.

    Super reply by Boland.

Superb reply from Dublin. 2 in a row

Can you imagine this much scoring within minutes in a senior game!

    Some energy out there.

Good solid save. Thought it was a stone wall free though before hand to Dublin.

    Love the u21 championship

Hard to take but only themselves to blame.
