Anyone else find places like Euro 2 and Centz smell quite similar? I was just walking past a Dealz and just noticed the common smell.

    Evenin' folks! ;)

Cooking a nice Japanese curry once again, diced beef is simmering away in the pot on a very low heat for the last half an hour or so. Rice is soaking. This gonna be tasteeeee :D

My sister cooked a bunch of waffles, then proceeded to only eat the middle of the waffles and not the edges. I have no idea what her thought process for this was beyond wasting food.

Wasting food is a waffley bad shame :o

What kind of rice do you use, Linkage? I generally use the long grain boil-in-water type of rice. A rice steamer would probably be the way to go.

I buy Japanese rice from the local asian supermarket, it comes in 10KG bags, so I'm happy. I've got a rice cooker that I bought in Lidl which is amazing, I would recommend one.

Ohh, what kind of Rice Cooker? Been debating purchasing one too. Boiled Rice just doesn't have the same texture as steamed rice.
