    life question
    the guy i rented the room from august just wrote me that he lost his job and will not be able to take the room but is asking me to return the deposit and keep just a small part as a compensation

    is this the way it works here? i was never in this situation

    but in serbia in principle the deposit is exactly that - deposit, and you do not return it

    however i want to be fair so any advice please :) thanks my fellows :))

    As far as I know, deposits work the same way here, you don't have to return them.

    Saw a bunch of kids getting on a bus for Marley Park, looked like every one of them was carrying a bottle of Buckfast.

    Two things I'll never understand; Getting drunk before a show, and drinking Buckfast willingly.

    depends on the level of drunkedness tbh.

    Myself and the brother pretty much always go for booze before gigs but wouldn't get 'falling over' drunk. But have been with friends that stupidly drunk before gigs and were subsequently refused admission to the gig.

    I feel so out of place here. Half of these people are wearing barely any clothes and one of the lads is wearing a bright yellow vest, it looks like a high vis. About ten people also got p1ssed off at the bus driver for not allowing alcohol on the bus. They were told when they bought the bus ticket that they couldn't bring drink.

    Meh. I'll have a good day anyway.
