    anyone else had the experience of having a phone call with someone whom you've never met and hearing their voice for the first time? I had one earlier this evening (but meeting them in the felsh on Saturday) I was rather nervous :o

    My fella thankfully isn't into sports so I don't have to go through him watching it. Once or twice he has complained about soccer or some other sport being on that stopped a regular programme being shown.

    I get that all the time, pressures of the job along with years of living on the internet :D

    I remember chatting to some people on IRC maybe or some other for of chat thing - at least 16 years ago. Then they decided they were going to ring me to talk to me (which meant we both had to go offline cause how else would your tubes work in the era of shtty dialup?). It was fun :D

    yeah its funny, someone rings me up and I'm like erm..hi...urmm........'what do i say next?!' me and phones don't mix :o

    That sounded like it was fun :D Was nice to actually speak to them although it was weird, as we've been chatting on fb for a year :)

    Well i for one am glad it's almost back, god the summer has been Boooooooooooring without the routine of football on Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

    You're not an Aston Villa supporter are you?

    Well if ya know the the team names, you aren't too bad, yes those women will be 2nd fiddle to the beautiful game known as football :D

    Kinda gone off watching the GAA..... Maybe it's because Galway's hurlers and football panels are utter ****e....... Was only 7 when Galway last won Sam Maguire all the way back in 2001, probably be another 14 years or more before they win anything again.
