    atc - I walked into a lamppost before. The whole thing swayed. Still have a bit of a bump for my efforts.

    I *think* it baked in the mold properly, I shall have to wait and see, I do have delicious off-cuts of the stuff that erupted out of the top of the mold like a volcano and they're tasting quite good, so I think I have found a sponge recipe that works for me :)

    I added some red dye to it for the craic (mostly cause the best before date on the dye said the end of next month). It's like a slightly less vivid version of your hair Paws :D

    That's gas! Delighted to hear you got to catch up, so often you only find these things out too late to do anything about it.

    I'm giving up on them fecking weird cake molds, too much stress. The cake is tasty, but I'd have much preferred a proper 2 lair sponge with a mad jollop of cream and jam.

    My great grandfather was married twice. My grandmother was from the first marriage and the grand aunt I met tonight was from the second one. We live in separate estates and we have the same house number.
