Student golf membership

    New to the golfing scene and looking at student membership in limerick city and county... any info would be appreciated. Thanks

    Most clubs around Limerick are actively looking for members as numbers have dropped everywhere. Ballyneety and Rathbane are probably the cheapest at the moment but I'd also try Castletroy too to see what their price is. Ballyneety have the advantage of having the driving range and afaik it is free to use once you are a member, not sure if that applies to students. Castletroy is probably the best quality course in Limerick excluding the Manor and they are advertising for full membership on the front page of their website so I'd assume they are looking for student members too. If you're looking at further out the county Newcastle West is a nice course too
