Can identify this spider?

    This spider was on my landing last night and sacred the life out of me.

    It was the size of the bottom of a links can and was lighting quick!

    To me it looked dangerous, but all spiders look dangerous to me!
    Please help, I just wanna know something about it.

    Should I charge it rent? Lol

    Thanks Mickeroo, I've seen big spiders but nothing quite like this guy.
    And the strange colouring on him did scare me even more!

    Found a similar one in my house, big bugger. I don't think there are any spiders in Ireland that are dangerous though so i wouldn't worry.

    Ya Dan that does look like him..

    I'm still scared here about the size, once I know it's harmless I'll be still sacred by more at ease.

    They live a few years and there were a load of huge ones last summer due to the good weather meaning plenty of food.
