Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why wouldn't they get near it?

You ever see some of the headcases that have a job in there? :pac:
I know Martin has a history but I don't think he was behind this.

It's actually just an Ivory Coast flag that they've hung up backwards.
Nope, it's green next to the flagpole - Irish flag
Orange next to the flagpole - Ivory coast

Not even Leinster House, put one on your own house to you see the usual suspects spitting feathers and clogging radio shows. Would give the IW workers a bit of respite if nothing else.:P

Giving them a glimpse of the future. Good stuff.

I think getting the sack is the least of their worries, with the police involved they could well end up getting prosecuted. Flags are a contentious issue with rules on when the union flag can be flown from public buildings. There will be arguments made that they were inciting sectarianism
Has anyone ever been arrested for flag burning incitement on bonfire night?

    Funny in fairness

I'm sure they'll find it funny up there....Nothing like a flag to get people in a fluster.

You won't hear a peep out of the orangies when the tricolour is burned on a pile of pallets on the 11th of July though.

Someone puts the flag up for a prank and they call for the cops to look into it.

Would doubt it but who would you arrest, no one would admit to it, and there would likely be a riot.

This appears to have been done by contactors, you can be sure there is cctv and the company will want to be seen to have dealt with it for fear of losing future business with the assembly and the negative PR.

To be honest being prosecuted may not be the worst of their problems, some loyalist lunatic night be their biggest problem.

Check out this satirical page from Norn Iron, have a good read and you should eventually find the origin of Fleg. Pay close attention to the comments as this page is most definitely not on the side of the Fleggers, Wullie Frazer and Jamie Bryson, If you haven't heard of the second guy, I'm really sorry for introducing you to him. It is satirical and not sectarian.

Oh I can't add links, first post.

Add BELFASTLAD to the end of the facebook address or search for LAD, It'll say community.

"A nation once again" blasting out over the PA system. That'd kill wee Peter off altogether.
