Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to buy these laces in Dublin?

I have a pair of Base London Dessert Boots. They are in perfect condition but the laces have fallen apart.

I went back to Schuh and they don't do the laces. Base London say they don't do replacement laces either. I've also tried other shoe shops and a couple of cobblers. Very frustrating.

Does anyone know where I can buy them? The laces are a light brown colour, round and v.thin.

    Thanks.

    Amazon uk or ebay.

You probably won't find the exact same ones, but a different coloured set of laces might brighten up the boots, especially if they're a bit worn.

Edit - You could also try Clarks as the base london boot is basically a copy of the original Clarks desert boot. I got a pair of Clarks Jinks yesterday (desert boot in a shoe form) and the laces on them look more or less the same as yours.

Clarke's might sell them but I have a feeling they don't. You could try the website therightlace.com as I have heard of people ordering CDB laces off them but I don't know if they would have the exact ones you want.
