Galway Bay Cycling Criterium, Saturday 6th of June

Galway Bay Cycling Club are hosting the 2nd annual Galway City Criterium in Highfield Park, on the western side of the city this coming Saturday 6th of June. Irish and international Cycling legend Sean Kelly will be in attendance as guest of honour and will present the prizes to the winners.

There will be an A1/A2/A3 race as and a separate A4 one as well as a full compliment of Youth races, Under 12, under 14 & under 16.
Adult races strictly limited to 50 per race. Online entry eventbrite. I can't post urls so to enter on line go the the eventbrite website and search for Galway Bay events on the 6th of June.

Youths can sign on the night.
Sign on from 5.00 pm. Youth Races off at 6.00 pm sharp and adult races off at 7.00 pm

I cannot post websites as I don't have enough posts but if you go on eventbrites website and look for Galway Bay CCs event on June 6th you can sign on there. we are limiting each race to 50 so the first 50 to sign on will be allowed race.

Sign on the night will be in Highfield Park at the finish line. Barbecue afterwards.

Good weekend in Galway for cycling with the Croi Corrib cycle also on the Sunday. Well worth a trip for both events....

Anyone thinking of doing the a4? I am trying to persuade myself but not sure.

My experience is limited to getting dropped in a couple of a4 races this year. Never ridden a crit - any thoughts?
