Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Suerez nearly won the PL for Liverpool and ends up contributing in the biggest game in football.

That's more than the coaching staff. It's an offical 'Replay' casual uniform they were when they travel.

Sad way for Pirlo to go out.

Double winner and European Cup finalist, could be worse.

History is Barcelona's! The greatest team of their generation! They've beaten the best of the best, they've proven themselves better than all the rest. It's a team of winners, of champions in a champion club. For Gamper, for Kubala, for Michels, for Cruyff, for Guardiola, for Laporta, for Xavi, for Iniesta, for Messi, for Catalonia, this is more than just a club, it's a nation, a philosophy, a way of life. Champions of Spain! Champions of Europe! Mes Que Un Club! Visca el Catalonia! Visca el Barca!

Pirlo was missing in 2nd half he wasn't shyte. He's not the player to be a workhorse

His touch, his vision, his poise, things that made Pirlo great have all left him. He's not the player he once was and sadly he was left out there for it to exposed so badly.

Was that Nedved in the background?

    Worst keeper to win CL?

Dida for AC Milan was probably as dodgy.

Well there's killing a game and then there's what they do.

Anyway don't want to distract from a great final by focusing on it but was summing up my feelings at full time.

Very enjoyable game. Barca deserved it on the balance of play, but it really could've gone either way.

Why do people keep saying Ter Stegen was dodgy tonight? I thought he was very composed tonight, especially as a youngster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,458 ✭✭✭✭gandalf

Great game to watch as a neutral*

If Juventus were a bit more clinical the result would have been different. It's going to be interesting to see if Vidal and Pogba move now. Vidal was a lot more impressive in the 2nd half. Would love him to sign for us (come one Alexis have a word with him!!).

    * ok I was slightly neutral as I was rooting for Juve!

Dida was incredible in his prime years. As good as Buffon or Casillas. First that came to.mind for me was Valdes.

He came and punched a ball that was easy to catch off his own players head that nearly was an og

Neither really matches Ter Stegen though. Winning the champions league with 0 league appearances.

Great final and just about the right result. How different would it have been if Juve had been awarded that penalty for what I thought was an obvious foul on Pogba?
