Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Juve have steadied the ship nicely after that disaster start. Morata and Tevez dont strike fear into you as a defender though

Real Madrid must be kicking themselves not to be here tonight.

A player putting their hands up in air during a tackle is a definite sign they have done something.

    ?

Tevez definitely would. Not getting much ball tonight

Well Vidal made it to half time without getting sent off. Impressive

Fúcking hell, imagine being a defender in the box and messi is running at you. Scary stuff

    Worlds gone mad.

Yep no way Sterling is worth the same as Pogba!

That's OK tho. Barca don't have many defenders

No way they should have been beat by Juve, thats what I'm hinting at.

Think Messi was waiting for the contact from Pogba to go down for a peno.

Its a great game and could still go either way. Suarez is kinda being marked out of it but once he got some space and time he had two good efforts.

    Absorbing.

    Yes they should. Fully deserved

Barcelona start the half like the champions they truly are and strike fear into the heart of the 11 Bianconeri players and then at the end of the half Messi springs to life, swerving, feinting, a demonic dance that has seduced every football fan the world over for a decade, he is terrifying.

Excellent half, we need 1 more goal and history is ours.

Could do with a different ref. Ruining the flow of the match

only 1 goal in it which is pretty good if your a juve fan after that half

Only if you judge football by whats on paper. Juve are an extremely solid team and Real are not. Real's lack of solidity was always going to be exposed with Bale not firing and Modric out. Juve were by far the better team over two legs. There's also the fact that tonight would have been a bad tempered niggly foul-fest if Madrid were playing.

Madrid deserve to be there as much as those other teams, that's what I'm hinting at.

While excellent, i think this Barca team are very prone to completely falling asleep. There have been signs of it in the first half here.

As comfortable a 1-0 as it gets really.

This could get ugly. Another 2 goals for Barca I'd say. Juve may get 1.

I disagree. Games were close enough, considering Real Madrids team cost 4 times what Juve's cost, Juve definitely deserved to go through

Probably not as sad as us lot being in on a Saturday night watching it :pac:

But not the players with their stupid, petty fouls?

Surprised Juve are still in this as well, hard to see them getting back into it,they look as likely to lose a goal to a stupid mistake as they do to a bit of genius. Both the midfield engines a wrong foot away from ending the game early.Barce have another gear in them too.

Potentially but I'd argue that the front 3 showed signs of springing into life, they're just starting to purr.

play around the midfield and make pogba or vidal dive in and get the second yellow would be my tactics now tbh

Or you know keep playing the same way and win the match?

Think juve need to bring pirlo off he's been a passenger tonight

Did Messi just spit on the escalator?

I thought their chances were spread pretty evenly throughout the half. Barca need a second before they take their next snooze

Certainly been the poorest of the midfielders. Not getting involved enough at all

Wasted chance by barca, not clever enough to use the extra men. Good stop by Buffon though

How did Messi not want to turn and give Bonucci a slap there? At least Messi kept going. I love Ronaldo but he'd have stopped and had a strop to the ref whilst giving up possession if that happened to him.
