Pricing.. richersounds.ie V euro.richersounds.ie

    jut wondering if there a problem with the euro.richersounds.ie website, reason being...

    Was looking at two items on richersounds.ie and then euro.richersounds.ie

    The Yamaha SRT 1000 is £299 on richersounds.ie and €549.99 on euro.richersounds.ie

    The Tannoy Basestation One is £129.95 on richersounds.ie and €249.99 on euro.richersounds.ie

    Now, at the current rate, there seems to be some disconnect

    £299.00 in Euro on XE.com now is €408.89, a bit away from €549.99


    Is there a problem with the euro.richersounds.ie website?


    Or am I missing something ?

    Apologies for this - I'm away this week at a product launch hence some of the latest price changes haven't been actioned as soon as I would like, please accept my apologies for this.

    Just as an aside the euro price will rarely be a direct conversion based on xe.com rates for several reasons - the primary reason is the xe uses mid market rates which bear very little resemblance to what Irish banks actually offer - call your own bank or cc company and see what actual conversion they will give you on the above amounts after conversion and charges!

    The second reason is that I normally try if at all possible to make the euro pricing super competitive and lots of products are significantly cheaper in euro.

    Next up the euro pricing in our site includes delivery anywhere in Ireland whilst the GBP price does not - to be fair you could not have factored this into your calculations.

    Apologies again for the delay adjusting these prices - if you are keen to purchase you can of course purchase in GBP and the site will add a modest delivery charge for euro zone delivery and you can benefit from the GBP pricing straight away.
