Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bad night for Derry. Fourth goal was about 20 yards offside, but made no difference to the score. Could've been six.

    We are truly awful.

    Relegation material.

I reckon the ref might have thought that the Derry player (on the deck in your picture) tried to head it back or misheaded it into Miele as it definitely went close to his head.

Only reason i can think of for making such a call.

I think he thought that either McEleney headed it back towards his own goal (kickout from Doherty up the pitch to the halfway line) or the player on the ground who stretched to reach it touched it.

Kenna headed straight on though. Could've done with that happening for the winner on Friday than the fourth in a dead rubber:pac:

What was hilarious was that Rovers had what looked like a perfectly valid chance ruled out as offisde just right before that Miele goal :pac:

Not sure what sort of team we'll be playing tonight. 3 games in a week against full time sides and we're missing Pender, Best, Griffin, Dan Byrne and possibly Anto, Paddy and Mulcahy from an already small squad. I'd say some of the kids will get a run out tonight and Friday.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

And then any time after the goal that the linemans correctly ruled a Rovers player offside he got a round of applause, off the Rovers fans!. :pac:

Hoping for a draw later, can't seeing us beating UCD tbh. Decent weather so hopefully a half decent crowd.

What's wrong with Griffin? Has been out on the piss in Dundalk a lot latley (He's out every Fri,Sat,Sun as it is) but seems to be out week nights latley. Assume he's injured!
Will end up out of the league in a year or two. Sad as great potential

Just about scraped past Athlone on the second attempt. Athlone had an unbelievable amount of chances and couldn't take a single one. Came close when they had an open goal, hitting the outside of the post.

Looks like it'll be between ourselves, Harps and UCD.

I just hope they left ye wrecked for Friday!
Would have taken a playoff spot with both hands before the season tho

Fúck Padraig Sutton. An absolute joke of a ref.

Whatever about how Bohs played, while at 1-1, Akinade is getting mauled in the box as their corner goes in with Sutton looking right at it and does nothing.

Same thing happens minutes later in their box but Sutton gives a free out.

At 2-1, Pats player (forget who it was) blows over in the wind with little to no contact on the edge of the box. Sutton gives them a free kick and they score from it.

    Pathetic.

We were still absolutely awful but Sutton absolutely killed anything we had going forward.

To sum it up, Kealon Dillon falls over the ball with no Pats players around him and we get the free kick.

    Bizarro world.

Unbeaten in 10 league games now since March. Could easily be top by Friday evening.
    All is good.

Dire! Adam O'Connors goal is a potential goal of the season, peach of a strike! Two we conceded were disgraceful, we can't defend set pieces at all!

Bohs had 13 frees in the 1st half, we had 3 and they had 2 players booked. Ended out 4 to 1 them in Yellows and they had around 26 free kicks. Ref was equally bad for both sides but whereas any tackle we made was a free, they got away with all the little fouls and got booked for normal ones.

Akinade fouled Clarke for their goal but it was ok, he took out Browne in the 2nd half and ref gave him a free kick.

Game went as expected but i was gutted at the end.

Had minus 2 as well and we should have had 2 or 3 more in the 2nd half.

We were by far the better team last night. 3 cracking goals scored by us and should have been more in the second half. Bohs offered very little in attack.
Bucko has an interesting decision to make regarding our backline, does he keep with Hoare and Browne which seems to be his first choice or go for Desmond (who was superb in the 30minutes he played last night at right back) to replace Browne or he could even bring in McGuiness instead of Browne.
