Sub machine guns probably aren't such a laughing matter in Colombia. I think I read Quintana say somewhere that if he wasn't a cyclist his only other job option was the army.

It's Froome's head shake that makes it even more hilarious.

Wasn't there some kind of incident with a car and the police and gunfire yesterday morning in the vicinity of the course in Paris?

He probably should have thought better of it and told the "Peter Sagan" part of his brain to shut up and stop messing.

The more I see of Sagan, the deeper the man crush gets. The guy's a total legend:D Anyone see him in the background of the Nibali interview there last week. Very funny...

Dave Brailsford asked Nico not to lose too much weight in the lead up to the tour.
Instead of Nicholas Roche coming in just as a climber, which he can do, we asked him specifically not to lose too much weight, to keep his power. I wanted to use his power, strength, not just come purely as a mountain guy and he stepped up and delivered fantastically as well. He’s a strong rider, a fantastic all-rounder.

Yeah it didn't go down well with her or her boyfriend…because she doesn't really matter, being a mere human ornament sure Sagan is only 'cheeky' not a deeply disrespectful sexist chauvinist who treated her as an object for his predilection as opposed to a person with agency and a whole personality and character attached to her arse.

But it's important to note her owner/boyfriends feelings were also hurt .

He may be a great rider but as he disregards and disrespects half the population based on their gender on a world stage with his behaviour I find it impossible to respect or support Sagan as one of the dismissed. I cannot consciously condone such actions and attitudes.

Although these opinions are moot until they are validated by my boyfriend...

I really don't like whipping up drama or ****-stirring, but Oleg Tinkov has been tweeting some real poison for the last two days. He should not be confused for some kind of lovable rogue, he's a bollocks.

I saw bits and pieces of his conversation with vockler at the start and some his comments about money etc were true but hes going way to personal now. There was an interview during tdf with him where he he said prudahome wouldnt shake his hand, prudahome was asked after if he refused to shake hands and his reply was you need 2 people to shake hands and he hadnt seen tinkov that particular day. Hes getting more and more unlikable every race

That really doesn't matter to me at all, the racism is inexcusable and the personal abuse is bad enough.

Well Putin was called a woman in one and maybe he was just angry in the other. By the way the account is still unofficial so may not be him.

And on here posts are being thanked that call people Muppets!!!

Putin was not called a woman, Vaughters pointed out that Putin looks a bit like the Mona Lisa. Pointing out that someone has a similar face to a woman is not on the same planet as calling a black person a monkey. Anger does not permit a default to racism.

And I was not calling anyone a muppet (or sesame street puppet). I have nothing but respect for Brailsford, Indurain, Porte and Froome. It was a harmless joke that I would not in the least mind being the butt of myself.

Sorry but I will be preserving my anonymity, as is my right. I would say I most closely resemble Count von Count. Captain Havoc and Detones (and anyone else who has seen me) can counter this if they wish.
