Buying Ticketmaster tickets from booth in Jervis, Dublin

    Does buying a ticket from the booth in Jervis avoid the service fees?

    It used to but I dont think it does any more. Open to correction though

    buying directly from an agent is usually a few quid cheaper.
    Pay in cash and it's cheaper still.
    It adds up to a lot if you go to lots of gigs, or are buying for a group.

    Ah right those guys are agents? Thought they were an outlet of Ticketmaster.

    I mean the booth at the escalators when entering jervis at the Luas stop

    Last time I bought tickets at that kiosk there was a service charge. That was over a year ago though...

    Same here, I think it was a little over 2 Euros.
    The better option is the Stephen's Green booth. For most concerts there is no charge if you pay cash.
