Will this TV bracket do the job for large TV?

    Hi all,

    Sorry mods if this isn't the correct place to post, feel free to move as appropriate :)

    I have a 50" Panasonic Viera plasma screen that I want to wall mount.

    The weight of the TV is 35kg and the wall bracket I was thinking of getting for the job will be on sale in Lidl next week and supports TV's up to 35kg.

    Would this be ok to support its maximum weight load or should I look for something more heavy duty?

    Here is the bracket in question;

    Thanks!

    Will be perfect for it. I paid £5 for the bracket that holds up my 42" sure. :P

    Most TV brackets are grossly overpriced because it's a 'drag-along' sale that the electrical shops and Argos use to make a tidy profit. Punter is feeling flush after doing tons of research identifying the best model and price, goes into shop and makes the purchase at which stage he is ripe for the sting of the overpriced accessory, the same trick they used to pull flogging overpriced HDMI cables before that rip-off was exposed.

    If Lidl say 35 kg then I'd be happy with that.

    Thanks for the replies!

    Fairly happy to go with that so!

    €25 seems fairly reasonable too from a local bricks and mortar store
