4 core wiring advice

    wiring an outside boiler and just need to clarify the colours on the 4 corecable

    brown is live
    black is switched live
    blue is earth and grey is ??

    Whatever grey is blue isn't earth!

    Please get someone competent to help you, before someone gets killed/injured.

    Personally I normally use 5 core you should have an earth core so 4 core & earth

    Brown -live
    Grey - switched live
    Blue -neutral
    Black
    Green/yellow - earth
