Moments of the 2014/2015 Season.

While still have some summer tournaments to look forward to this footballing season is largely done.

This thread is for those moments that stood out in your memory. They can be heart warming or heart aching, funny or sad, just please keep them reasonable and civil.

My moments are as follows.
Arda Turan's boot toss.
In a moment of sheer unforgettable brilliance Atletico's Madrid player decided to express his frustration on the pitch by tossing his boot almost clonking the assistant referee in the process!

Luis Enirque's packet of chewing gum.
The madrid press especially hated Enrique because like Luis Figo he left one rival to join another. They would spin whatever negative rumours they could. More personal attacks were aimed at Enrique than criticisms at the club. One particular headline early in the season from AS ran "Luis Enrique swimming in chewing gum". A headline that had everyone scratching their heads as to what exactly the phrase meant. After Barcelona defeated Ajax 3-1, AS persisted insisting Enrique was pulled out of the chewing gum. The next day Enrique tweeted a photo of his office, two of his staff members and there on the desk was a lowly packet of chewing gum.

AFC Bournemouth promotion to English Premier League
In a nutshell the bonkers celebrations that ensued once their promotion was all but assured.

Lionel Messi, in general. He has been simply incredible since the turn of the year, with his goal against Bayern and his goal against Athletic both ranking among the best goals of the year, even more incredible considering both were delivered on the very highest of stages.
