    Cheers for that and apologies for the stupid question. In relation to the second link does the dotted area show the affected area and does this mean that area will be cyclone strength?

    The shaded area is the area that might be affected allowing for variations in the cyclone's path. The filled in cyclone symbol indicates winds at hurricane strength or above (74+ mph). If it's hollowed out, the wind speeds are predicted to be lower than this threshold.

    Cheers, I will stock up on water just in case. The main desalination plant here is down due to other reasons, I can only imagine if this hits.
