Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey everybody. So my PC parts arrived and I started putting it together. Turned it on and it didn't work. I had a few problems with the building process but I managed to get through so not sure if I have something connected wrong / forgot to connect something. I looked inside and the Graphics card light is one, the case fan is moving and the CPU fan is on. I'll post a video so some of you guys might know the problem.

I'll leave this link so you can check out a video of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVlndjljwYA

You'll have to show a pic of the motherboard Matt, and any free connectors from the PSU.

Is the ram seated correctly, and the GPU? They should click into place

Before I post a picture - When I power it on, it stays on for about 5 seconds, switches off and restarts itself and the cycle continues. DO you know what that would be? Could it the CPU shutting itself down to prevent overheating?

Okay so I put the ram back in and it clicked, that was the problem I think. Now, I connected everything and connected my HDMI cable but I can't see anything on my monitor?

Do you hear a single beep when you turn it on?

Also does it have an on-board hdmi as well as GPU card?
If so, try connecting the on-board first, and see if that's it.

Yeah I sorted it out. I just tried the HDMI port on the GPU and it worked.

Can anybody else help me with this, y'know I got two case fans but I only see one port can anybody confirm this or am I being dumb? This is the motherboard: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-H97N-WIFI-LGA1150-Mini-ITX-Motherboard/dp/B00KC7ZY2U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433864507&sr=8-1&keywords=H97N+MINI+ITX

Yeah, according to the Gigabyte spec page it has 1 x CPU fan header & 1 x system fan header.

There should be an Molex to 3-pin adapter with the case for connecting the other fan to one of the PSU's power connectors,
the only downside is it will run at full speed.
